Smalti Mosaic Workshop – Quirky Creations for Beginners

Discover the vibrant world of smalti in this beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll design and create a small mosaic piece with a quirky theme — and take it home the same day!

  • Learn to cut and place traditional smalti glass

  • Make a unique, playful mosaic to keep

  • All Materials are provided. We will be making a 12cm x 12cm piece.

  • Morning and afternoon tea provided – BYO lunch

  • No experience necessary – just bring your curiosity and creativity!

Please wear old clothes and closed-toed shoes, aprons are provided.

I will be supplying designs for this workshop, but if there is something you really want to make please e-mail me prior to the workshop.

Morning and afternoon Tea is provided (let me know if you have any special dietary requirements).

Design and Preparation:

The beauty of Smalti is you don’t have to grout!

You will be taking home a finished piece ready for hanging.
