Join us for 3 days of creativity. Enjoy the opportunity to relax and create on my beautiful 5-acre property, listen to the lyrebirds call and the wrens twitter, while surrounded by good company and creativity.

Create a stunning mosaic totem pole that lights up your garden!

Join Belinda at Beliana Mosaics for a creative, hands-on workshop where you will design and mosaic your own decorative PVC totem pole, topped with a solar light or something unique from your collections (a teapot, something quirky) for a beautiful evening glow. Using a selection of colourful tiles, glass, and decorative pieces, you will learn simple mosaic techniques while creating a unique feature piece for your outdoor space.

This relaxed and supportive workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike. Belinda will guide you step-by-step through design planning, cutting and placing tiles, adhesives, and finishing techniques so your totem is ready for outdoor display.

Wear old clothes and closed-toed shoes.

Bring along any pictures or imagery that inspire your design – keeping it simple is the key. If you are unsure of what you would like to do or if your design will work in the birdbath please e-mail me prior to the workshop with your design/picture and I can have a look and advise you.

Design and Preparation:

Grouting

After the workshop, your mosaic will need to cure to ensure it is waterproof and ready for the garden, it must be grouted.

Grouting Lesson: Join me in my  Studio for a 2.5 – 3 hour grouting lesson on Friday 8th May.

Grouting and Finishing

Learn the essential grouting and finishing techniques to make your Birdbath complete.

Belinda will guide you through the process on Friday 8th May, ensuring your Birdbath is beautifully finished and ready for the birds and bees to enjoy in your garden.
