Join us for 3 days of creativity. Enjoy the opportunity to relax and create on my beautiful 5-acre property, listen to the lyrebirds call and the wrens twitter, while surrounded by good company and creativity.

Create a stunning mosaic totem pole to brighten up your garden!

Join Belinda at Beliana Mosaics for a creative, hands-on workshop where you will design and mosaic your own decorative PVC Garden totem pole, topped with something unique from your own collection — a teapot, sculpture, planter, birdbath bowl, or something wonderfully quirky. Using a selection of colourful tiles, glass, and decorative pieces, you will learn simple mosaic techniques while creating a one-of-a-kind feature piece for your outdoor space.

This relaxed and supportive workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike. Belinda will guide you step-by-step through design planning, placing tiles, adhesives, and finishing techniques so your totem is ready for outdoor display.

Workshop includes:
• PVC pipe
• Tiles and mosaic materials
• Adhesives and tools
• Step-by-step tuition
• Morning and Afternoon tea – Light refreshments

Wear old clothes and closed-toed shoes.

This is a beginner friendly class.

Bring along any pictures or imagery that inspire your design – keeping it simple is the key. Think patterns, bands of tiles and uncomplicated designs that don’t require cutting tiles. If you are unsure of what you would like to do or if your design will work in the Garden totem Pole workshop or timeline, please e-mail me prior to the workshop with your design/picture and I can have a look and advise you.

I supply a large range of tiles that don’t need cutting, or very little. This will keep the workshop flowing and also allows you to finish in the time allocated, so you bring your beautiful Garden Totem Pole Home on the 31st of October.

Design and Preparation:

Grouting

After the workshop, your mosaic will need to cure to ensure it is waterproof and ready for the garden, it must be grouted.

Grouting Lesson: Join me in my Studio for a 4 hour grouting lesson on Saturday 31st October

Note: Steel bases are not included with the Totem pole but will be available to purchase for $75 at the workshop. Must be ordered in advance so I can get them made.

Solar lights are not included but I will have some for sale if you’d like one.

Belinda will guide you through the process on Saturday 31st, ensuring your Garden Totem Pole is beautifully finished and ready for the garden.
