Relax and unwind on my beautiful 5-acre property, where you can listen to the lyrebirds call and the wrens twitter while enjoying the company of like-minded creatives.

In this Mosaic Animal Portrait Workshop, you’ll learn how to create a unique mosaic portrait of your beloved pet. With a wide variety of gorgeous glass to choose from, you’ll be guided step by step through the process in a relaxed and supportive environment—perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike.

By the end of the day, you’ll take home your very own mosaic artwork. While your pieces will need further time to complete, grout, opportunities for follow-up sessions will be offered.

Please wear old clothes and closed-toed shoes, aprons are provided.

Please e-mail me your portrait photo a week prior to the workshop to approve and organize them before the workshop.

Morning Tea, a Light lunch and Afternoon Tea is provided (let me know if you have any special dietary requirements).

Design and Preparation:

Please e-mail me your portrait photo a week or more prior to the workshop to approve and organize it before the workshop. A quality photo mainly of the head of your pet is the perfect photo for this workshop. The photo needs to be large enough for me to blow up in colour for you to follow so it will not be too hard to achieve.

You want to avoid photos with too many details in the background.

Grouting and Finishing

You will not complete this mosaic in the 2 days of the workshop. If you live close enough to come back for classes I will offer these.

Grouting will also be something you will need to do at home or in a class at the studio.
