Mosaic Bird/Bee Bath Workshop

Workshop Overview: In this 6-hour mosaic workshop, you will select tiles to glue onto a 30cm diameter terracotta saucer. You’ll have a wide variety of tiles to choose from in different shapes, sizes, and colours. Don’t worry if you’re a beginner, this class is designed for you! You’ll be guided through the process step by step in a relaxed and supportive environment. Post-Workshop Details: After the workshop, your mosaic will need to dry overnight. To ensure it is waterproof and ready for the garden, it must be grouted. You have two options for grouting:

• DIY at Home: I’ll provide you with detailed instructions and a grout pack to take home.
• Grouting Lesson: Join me in my Gembrook studio on a Monday for a 1-hour grouting lesson.

Materials Provided:

• Terracotta saucer (30cm in diameter)
• A selection of ceramic and glass tiles
• Safety equipment, apron supplied
• Adhesives
• Instructions and grout pack (if opting to grout at home, please advise prior to Workshop)
• Tools, tuition, and visual resources
• Enjoy tea, coffee and morning tea while you work in the Beliana Mosaics Studio.

• Bring along any pictures or imagery that inspire your design, keeping it simple is the key

By the end of the day, you will have a beautiful piece of artwork for your garden, you’ll also have a special piece that the birds and the bees can drink from. Join us for a day of creativity.
